The 2017 Time 2 Dance festival will take place from 18-23 September at the Alliance francaise and the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Dar es Salaam city.
This year, the Muda Africa dance students will take part in artistic exchanges with guest artists from Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Madagascar, Germany, Norway and Italy culminating in 3 days of public performances on 21, 22 and 23 September.
The festival is an annual event and a compulsory module of our dance curriculum. It started 10 years ago and this year will be the 5 th edition curated by the Muda Africa dance school. With a special focus on attracting more women to the dance profession, 7 out of the 11 choreographies will be directed by women!
For a full listing of the events at the festival, you can download the programme using the link below. All public performances are free of charge to attend but we very much appreciate donations being made to support the work of the dance school.
