Introducing Nia Love

MUDA is excited to announce that Nia Love, in collaboration with New York Live Arts, will be hosting a workshop with our students to develop a piece for this year's the Time 2 Dance Festival. The choregraphy entitled Ram Flash evokes the importance of agriculture in the human story, or as she put it, "a kind of rescue mission for us all... a deliverance, disembarrassment, disentanglement, emancipation, extrication, feat, heroism, liberation, ransom, reclaiming, recovery, redemption, release, relief, salvation!"

Nia is a dancer, choreographer and self-professed "conceptual artsist/ anarchist" based in New York. Her teaching credits include Columbia university, Barnard College and assistant professor at Queens College and Hunter College,
